1. Do you offer video?
2. What are your prices?
The prices differ from country to country and city to city and there are a number of different packages to choose from. Please email me or send me a Whatsapp message (+966543356917) of the date/city/country and I will get back to you with the relevant packages. Milka packages start from 9,000 SR for a 4 hour event.
3. How far in advance do we need to book?
A minimum of 2 months to secure a date.
4. How much is the deposit?
Once you decide on the event date an un-refundable deposit of 5000 SR is needed to secure your booking. Failure to settle this will result in someone else being able to book the date. The remaining payment needs to be settled before the wedding, preferably a week in advance or on the day.
5. How do we book your service for our big day?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your full name/date of event (hijri and meeladi)/venue/city/country and you will be sent an email with the booking information if your chosen date is available.
6. What kind of events do you photograph?
Weddings, engagements, henna parties, baby showers, graduations, commercial business events and children’s parties.
7. Do we need to have an album package?
No, if you would only like the full resolution digital images on a USB this is possible.
8. Do you offer honeymoon packages?
No. I believe the honeymoon is an intimate and private time for the newly wed couple and having a photographer and/or videographer come with you and follow you everywhere isn’t the most romantic thing in the world! However, many honeymoon destinations/hotels offer professional photography services for newly weds during their honeymoon should you want that.
9. Do you go to Makkah and Taif?
I get asked this frequently and the answer is no unfortunately. I only photograph events in Khobar, Dhahran, Jeddah, Riyadh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE.
10. Where did the name Mona Reema come from?
When I was born my mother wanted Reema and my father wanted Mona so they were put together
11. Do you provide other photographers?
No, I work solo. I edit the images and design the albums and products myself also.
12. When does the client receive the images?
The bride will receive her images via a downloadable private online folder within 4 weeks of the wedding date so she can choose her album images.
13. What is your package turnaround time?
It normally takes between 4 to 6 weeks (depending on the wedding season) to prepare the products after the client has submitted her image choices. She will then be notified of when the products are ready for local collection. Riyadh, Jeddah and Gulf clients will have their products sent to them by Aramex courier service.
14. Do you offer private photo sessions?
No, just event photojournalism.
15. Do you photograph babies and families?
Yes, this can be arranged but it is not a studio environment.
16. Are the transport tickets and hotel stay included in Riyadh/Gulf packages?
No. The tickets and 1 night hotel stay is not included, as the prices vary from place to place.
17. Do you provide backgrounds?
No, my work is purely photojournalistic and so I do not provide a studio environment for photo shoots. I make full use of the venue and the range of lenses I have to create modern, creative and contemporary portraits, some of which are posed but the majority are natural
18. What kind of albums do you have?
I have a range of digital albums and photo books that come in various shapes, finishes and sizes. Brides have a choice of different album covers, paper types and products.
19. How long do you keep wedding images for?
In my new policy it states that photos are kept on the back up system for 12 months after the bride receives her album so that she has a chance to order any more products. After 12 months the images will be removed from our hard disks permanently, unless we have permission to use them in office portfolio viewings (women only). I now advise all brides to make a back up of the USB in a safe place when they receive it for security.
20. Did you take the photos that are posted on Instagram and the website?
Yes The images are all mine and are uploaded with the prior permission of the bride and groom.
21. How long have you been a professional photographer?
11 years altogether. I spent 6 years taking photos of weddings, birthdays and children when I lived in London and up to 5 years now in Saudi and the Gulf.
22. Are you self-taught?
Yes and No. Photography started as a hobby and it wasn’t until a friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding did I really get into it professionally after the bride claimed that she loved the photos! I studied Political Photojournalism during my BA and MA in London and I learnt the basics of how to use a professional camera in one of the modules and took it from there, applying my documentary and photojournalistic skills to weddings and happy events.
